Hiragana and Katakana is the Japanese alphabet. It is important to know them even if you just want to learn conversational Japanese. 
 
First I will introduce Hiragana and Katakana. You will repeat after me and practice the correct pronunciation.
Make sure you prepare a piece of paper and a pen to learn the stroke order of them. (Stroke order is important to write neat.)
 
I recommend this lesson for people who is a TRUE BEGINNER in Japanese.
