Visiting Japan soon? In this lesson you learn the Japanese you will actually use on your trip, with no prior Japanese needed.
What we practice
- Restaurants: ordering, asking for recommendations, paying
- Trains and taxis: buying tickets, asking for directions
- Hotels and shops: checking in, asking prices, making simple requests
- Asking for help politely when you are lost or stuck
- Basic etiquette that guidebooks often skip
How it works
I explain in English, you practice the phrases out loud, and we role-play real situations from your trip. I type every phrase in the chat with its reading, so you have a phrase list to take with you.
Who this lesson is for
Complete beginners and returning travelers who want to feel confident in everyday situations in Japan. Four or five lessons before your trip is ideal.
