Class Level: k-6 (elementary learners)
Overview and Purpose:
This class offers a variety of options to learn English while creating art (drawing, painting, print-making, crafting and 3D art media).Creating art is incredibly good for a childs' stimulation and higher order thinking.
Art is essential for kids. It is a form of communication and expression, which makes it an ideal outlet for young children to use their imagination and develop their creativity. It will also help your child remain active while he/she is learning.
Objectives: Learner is expected to :
1. Understand basic English instructions and pactice the basic concept and fundamental processes of art such as drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, and crafting using other 3D media.
2. Be encouraged to build confidence and create and speak English in a natural manner.
Art Materials: Please refer to the required materials and specification that will be given before the lesson.
