Introductory lesson
Description
This is the first lesson between a new student and a teacher.
In the first part, we are going to introduce ourselves. Usually, I ask questions in order to set the student's level and see what I can expect from him/her. I always ask: Why do you want to learn English. Prepare a good answer ;)!
In the first lesson, we are going to discuss habits, lifestyle, preferences. and everyday situations. The focus is on the Present Simple and new vocabulary (we will choose the topic together. I know what vocabulary is new for a certain level). Also, communication works two ways, so you must ask me questions, too.
You can expect to have something to write for homework. For example, a small paragraph about your typical day. You will tell me about your typical day during the lesson and write about it for homework.
In the end, I am going to ask some questions using the Past Simple, just to test the knowledge a bit.
