Advanced English at the Professional Level - Grammar, Vocabulary and Conversation
Improve your communication skills with advanced grammar and vocabulary. Corrective conversation focuses on sentence structure and how to effectively and efficiently convey meaning. Classes are tailored to each individual student's needs and field.
Kursinhalt
This is a class for students who are comfortable working in English. The course begins with corrective conversation to determine your strengths and weaknesses, then short grammar lessons and practice fill any holes in your learning.
We will then examine sentence structure and develop strategies for you to quickly and effectively convey complex messages in contexts that are relevant to you.
This class is recommended for advanced English speakers looking to develop their fluency. Types of students who would benefit from this lesson include:
- Doctors/Nurses and others working in healthcare
(covering strategies for conveying information to different audiences, such as patients, colleagues, other institutions or companies)
- Those in the Business Sector / Life Coaches / Sales Representatives
(multiple strategies are developed for negotiating and presenting ideas)
- Judges/Lawyers and others in the Fields of Law
(covering strategies for both spoken and written English, developing communication methods for clients, colleagues, other institutions or companies)
- Professors/Teachers and others in the Field of Education
(developing strategies to convey messages to students of all ages and of varying levels)
