In this interactive and creative lesson, students will learn how to craft a short story from start to finish. Through guided prompts, imagination exercises, and discussion, learners will develop their writing, speaking, and storytelling skills. This lesson is perfect for beginner to intermediate learners who want to practice English in a fun and practical way.

 

Topics & Skills Covered:

•Story structure: beginning, middle, end

•Vocabulary building

•Creative thinking and imagination

•Writing and speaking practice

•Sentence formation and sequencing

 

I use a student-centered, interactive approach:

•Prompt-Based Storytelling: I provide fun story starters (e.g., “A mysterious door appeared in the park…”) to spark ideas.

•Guided Writing & Speaking: Students craft sentences with support, then share aloud.

•Vocabulary Expansion: Introduce new words related to the story topic.

•Interactive Discussion: Encourage students to ask and answer questions about the story.

 

Lessons are designed to be fun, supportive, and confidence-building, with lots of encouragement and positive reinforcement.

 

Target Users:

Great for pre teen, teens, and adults who want to practice creative English, improve their speaking and writing, and have fun exploring their imagination.
