Book Club [English] “A Series of Unfortunate Events" - Mystery Novel
Description
“If you are interested in stories with happy endings, you would be better off reading some other book. In this book, not only is there no happy ending, there is no happy beginning and very few happy things in the middle. This is because not very many happy things happened in the lives of the three Baudelaire youngsters.”

Written by American author Daniel Handler under the pen name Lemony Snicket. The books follow the turbulent lives of orphaned siblings Violet, Klaus, and Sunny Baudelaire. This is a novel intended for children but I would say that even more mature students enjoy. It is very easy to read, in a way educational and most of it very fun.

So have fun reading and learning more about this interesting story with me while the secrets of the story unravel along the way, and all the better we polish your reading skills.

This is a lesson where we focus on reading comprehension, fluency and vocabulary. We can use this book or other type of reading that would be of interest to you like another book, newspaper reading, short story and so on.
