Description

Poetry is a beautiful form of communication, and in these sessions I'll help you to hone your poetic voice, whether you are new to poetry, or developing your craft. (Suitable for all ages) 

I have a PhD in literature and creative writing, and have taught writing for ten years, from library workshops for kids up to university courses.
In these sessions we'll discuss poetry we like and why it works (if you're not familiar with much I'll bring some to share), we'll work on different poetic forms, find inspiration, and write - and edit! - some poems. 

DON'T worry if you've not written before or you think your poetry isn't good - that's what these sessions are for! All good poets had to write some bad poetry before they became good!
