In this lesson, we talk about true story when a soldier who stayed hidden in the jungle for almost 30 years because he didn’t know World War II had ended. It is one of the world’s strangest historical stories and a great topic for natural English conversation.
First, I explain the key points of the story in clear, simple English so you understand the situation. Then we discuss it together. While you speak, I correct your mistakes in real time and help you use more natural English, better vocabulary, and clearer pronunciation.
After discussing the story, we choose a related theme to explore more deeply (duty, loyalty, isolation, war, communication, fear, following orders, etc.). This helps you speak longer, think more, and improve your fluency.
