When people think of Japan, “Tokyo” might be the first city that comes to mind for many Japanese learners. Most learners usually focus on standard Japanese (標準語) or polite Japanese (敬語).
In this lesson, you’ll enjoy a free conversation in Kansai dialect with me, a Kansai native who loves it.
Kansai is full of fascinating cities, especially:
- Kyoto and Nara – the historical and cultural heart of Japan
- Osaka – the city of everyday culture and laughter
- Kobe – an international and stylish port city
Through our free talk, you’ll get to practice Kansai dialect and experience Kansai culture firsthand! ^ ^
