Description

Choose between Emily's Wuthering Heights or Charlotte's Jane Eyre. The Brontë's are known for their mysterious characters and epic love stories... they're also known for two page descriptions of the color of grey rocks on a mountain side, which can be a bit daunting but mostly boring. Skip the imagery and see for yourself the artist's interpretation of grey rocks! Know amazing characters and intricate plot lines while still practicing reading skills. This may take more than one lesson so the first session I will provide the PDF's, but students are encouraged to buy one of the graphic novels. We'll discuss themes, dictation and literary elements of the sublime that are still apparent in the graphic novels.
