This lesson is great for begginers, intermediate, senior and adult English students.
This lesson plan focused on sports vocabulary, equipment, roles, and discussions for English learners. 

I know that learning a new language can be scary and donting, but know that I will be with you every step of the way in your learning journy, I've created a safe enviroment where you can make mistakes, imrpove on your English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills whiles growing your grammar and vocabulary. 

Warm-up

  • Engages students in conversation about their interest in sports.
  • Includes a word unscrambling activity related to various sports.

Sports Equipment and Places

  • Discusses different sports, their equipment, and where they are played.
  • Highlights the distinction between British and American terminology for sports.

People in Sport

  • Matches roles in sports (e.g., referee, coach, manager) with their responsibilities.
  • Provides sentences to complete using vocabulary related to sports roles.

Which Sport?

  • Involves identifying sports based on spectator comments.
  • Includes vocabulary definitions related to sports actions and terms.

Talking Point

  • Encourages discussions on various sports-related topics.
  • Provides cue cards to guide conversations about personal experiences and opinions on sports
