When we do something wrong we should apologize. Sometimes people make excuses to explain why it wasn't their fault. Often when we have done something wrong we make a promise to change our behaviour so the problem doesn't occur again.
This lesson will introduce new vocabulary to help the student understand how to make an apology, how to accept or reject an apology and how to make promises to improve our conduct in the future.
Each topic in my Everyday English lesson series has four worksheets. Worksheet one of this topic covers apologies, excuses and promises. Worksheet two is a dialogue to help understand context and improve pronunciation. Worksheet three provides the student with examples on how to apologize and how to accept an apology.
