If you're learning to draw—whether it's characters, animals, or everyday objects—you might notice your drawings don't look quite right. Often, this happens because of small mistakes in shapes, proportions, or shading.

In this lesson, you’ll learn to spot common problems, like faces that seem off or objects that look flat. The key is training yourself to see these mistakes. You’ll practice breaking down what you see into simple forms, checking proportions, and adjusting lines and shadows.

It doesn’t matter if you’re drawing from imagination or real life—the same basics apply. We’ll use reference images (like popular characters from comics or anime, but also animals, everyday objects, or anything you want to draw) to compare your work to. This way, you can train your eye to spot differences and improve step by step.
