- This is a lesson pack of 10 lessons in total. When you send the request for the first lesson, points for all 10 lessons will be deducted at once.
- Once the tutor confirms the first request, “100% OFF coupons” that can be used for the remaining 9 requests will be issued automatically.
- You can use these coupons to send requests for the remaining lessons.
- The validity period for this lesson pack is 80 days starting from the scheduled date and time of the first confirmed lesson.

Even if the first scheduled lesson is canceled, the already set validity period will not change.

■レッスンの概要
 
英語の発音を集中して実践的に学び、身につけていくレッスンです。
 
フォニックスとは違い、IPAという国際的な発音記号を使用して子音・母音のみを発音するところから始めるので、特に日本人の発音習得に効果的です。
発音矯正というよりゼロから英語の音を身につけるイメージです。
これから英語を始める方や学び直しに最適ですが、すでに中級や上級で話し方にクセがついてしまっている方でも、強い意志があれば改善することは可能です。
 
標準的なイギリス発音(GB/SSB/Modern RP)・アメリカ発音(GA)に対応可能で、英米の発音の違いなども適宜解説します。

■よくある質問
 
Q: 教材などを購入する必要はありますか？
A: ありません。PDFの発音記号表をお送りします。実践的なレッスンのため、あえて教材は使用しませんが、レッスンのまとめに練習した内容を記載します。
 
Q: 週に何回くらい受ければいいですか？
A: 忘れないうちに続けて受講すると効果的なので、初めは週2回程度が最適です。急いで上達したい場合は週3回、どうしても忙しい場合は週1回なども可能です。
 
Q: 何分のレッスンがおすすめですか？
A: 発音は口周りの筋肉を使うため、30分が一番おすすめです。慣れてきたら45分や60分にしたり、頻度を調整するといいと思います。
 
Q: どのくらい受ければ上達しますか？
A: 少しずつ上達するため気づきにくく、個人差も大きいですが、数週間〜2ヶ月くらいで実感し始め、3ヶ月〜1年で目標レベルに近づく方が多いようです。
 
Q: どのくらいの期間がかかりますか？
A: 生徒さんによってかなり差がありますが、30分週2回の場合、基本練習は4ヶ月くらい、応用練習は2ヶ月くらいで修了するのが平均的です。
 
Q: 単発や不定期でも受講できますか？
A: 可能です。お試しで1度だけでも問題ありません。特定の音や単語がうまく発音できないなども対応いたします。
 
Q: 基本練習をしないで、文章に入れますか？
A: 推奨はしませんが、どうしてもということなら、可能です。ただ、基本を飛ばして応用に取り組んでも、実力がつくかは微妙です。
 
Q: 応用練習のあと、さらに発音をきれいにしたい場合は何ができますか？
A: こちらで用意した小説を音読しながら楽しんだり、シャドーイングで発音を鍛えたりすることができます。ほかにもご希望があればご相談に乗ります。
 
Q: 手持ちの教材や小説、仕事の資料やプレゼンなどを読む練習はできますか？
A: カスタマイズレッスンとしてポイント数が異なりますが、可能です。ただし、内容により対応できかねることがあります。まずはメッセージで詳しい内容をお知らせください。

Cancellation of pack lessons

• 'Unstarted' lesson packs(1) can be cancelled any time. Used Points will be completely refunded. If a 'started' lesson pack(2) is cancelled, you will be refunded 50% of the price of the remaining lessons provided that the lessons are unrequested, unconfirmed or not within 24 hours of their scheduled start times.
(1) A lesson pack for which none of the requests have been confirmed by the tutor.
(2) A lesson pack with at least one confirmed request. (By confirming the date and time for the first lesson in the pack the tutor confirms the pack as a whole and coupons are automatically issued)

Cancelling individual requests in a pack

• If you wish to cancel a single lesson that belongs to a pack but not the whole pack, you can do so via the request page. In this case, the coupon used to book the lesson will either be refunded or collected, based on the tutors single-lesson cancellation policy. Please note that any 50% partial refunds in the tutors single-lesson cancellation policy do not apply to lesson packs and the tutor may choose to either refund or collect the coupon in those cases.

Before request is confirmed (fixed)

  • Cancellation possible at any time without charge.

After request is confirmed (fixed)

  • More than 24 hours before lesson start time.→ Cancellation is possible at any time.
  • Less than 24 hours before lesson start time.→ The tutor may take a cancellation fee.
  • No-Show→ The tutor may take a cancellation fee.
