This lesson will help children look for more meaning in words and sentences

Description

In this lesson I will guide children through a small reading comprehension practice, showing them how to look for essential words. I will allow the student to pick a range of subjects, based on their interests and their skill level.

5 minutes, warm up hang man game, practicing vocabulary.

15 minutes, reading together, practice reading alone. Highlighting the important words and parts.

5 minutes, working through questions around the reading, true and false about the reading to improve understanding.
