▶︎ About this Lesson

"I'm used to typing on my phone, but I rarely have the chance to write Hiragana and Kanji by hand..."

"I want to enjoy Japanese through the warmth of handwriting, like having a real penpal!"

This is a 1-week, handwriting-only exchange diary lesson tailored just for you.

Whether on paper stationery or digital handwriting apps like Goodnotes on an iPad, handwritten entries are all welcome!

I will also write back with heartfelt handwritten messages, decorated with cute stickers and doodles.

▶︎ Important Guidelines

・[No typing allowed!]

Whether using a real pen on paper or a stylus (like Apple Pencil), please participate strictly with handwriting. Writing by hand helps memorize characters naturally.

・No need to worry about neatness or Kanji levels!

Don't worry if you mostly use Hiragana or feel unsure about your handwriting. Let's just enjoy the personal warmth of handwriting together!

・Length guideline: "1 notebook page"!

No need to count characters. Aim for about one page of your favorite notebook, planner, or iPad canvas and write freely!

▶︎ What You'll Receive from Me 

For each exchange, I will send you 2 handwritten image pages:

  1. A warm response to your entry + handwritten feedback notes (1 page)

  2. My own real daily diary written by hand (1 page)
    ※My personal diary serves as wonderful reading material to experience authentic, natural handwritten Japanese!

▶︎ Schedule (Up to 4 Exchanges over 8 Days)

We will alternate sending diary pages every other day:

・Day 1: [Student] Submit 1st diary entry (1 page)

・Day 2: [Tutor] Send reply + tutor's personal diary (2 pages)

・Day 3: [Student] Submit 2nd diary entry

・Day 4: [Tutor] Send reply + tutor's personal diary

・Day 5: [Student] Submit 3rd diary entry

・Day 6: [Tutor] Send reply + tutor's personal diary

・Day 7: [Student] Submit 4th diary entry

・Day 8: [Tutor] Send final reply & lesson wrap-up!

※When progressing smoothly, you can complete up to 4 exchanges. The lesson concludes after 8 days regardless of total submissions, so please choose a week when you have a bit of free time.

・Paper notebook / stationery: Take a clear photo with your smartphone and send it (JPEG/PNG).

・iPad / Digital handwriting: Export and save the page as an image or PDF.

※Feel free to decorate with stickers/stationery or attach photos and doodles from your daily life!
