Lesson Procedure
1. Warm-up (10 minutes)
Show pictures of different travel destinations.
Ask students:

Have you ever traveled?

Where did you go?
-
How did you get there?
-
What was your favorite part?
Allow several students to share their answers.
2. Vocabulary Activity (10 minutes)
Introduce travel vocabulary using pictures.
Play a matching game:

Picture → Word
-
Word → Meaning
Students repeat each word aloud.
3. Reading Activity (10 minutes)
My Trip to the Beach
Last summer, my family traveled to the beach. We went by car. The weather was sunny and warm. We swam in the sea, built sandcastles, and ate ice cream. I collected seashells and took many pictures. It was a wonderful trip.
Ask comprehension questions:

Did they enjoy the trip?
4. Speaking Activity (10 minutes)
Students work in pairs.
They ask each other:

Encourage complete sentences.
5. Writing Activity (15 minutes)
Students write about a real or imaginary trip.
Writing Prompt:
"Write about your favorite travel experience."
Guide them with these questions:

Who went with you?
-
How did you travel?
-
What did you do?
-
What was your favorite part?
Example:
Last year I went to the zoo with my family. We traveled by bus. I saw many animals, including lions and elephants. We ate lunch together and took lots of pictures. It was a fun day.
6. Wrap-up (5 minutes)
Ask volunteers to read their writing.

Extension Activity
Students draw a picture of a place they visited (or would like to visit) and write 3–5 sentences describing it. They can share their travel poster with the class during the next lesson.
