This is a customized class. The topic is "Feelings and Emotions":
-we'll have a speaking marathon
-discuss fears and feelings
-look through the new vocabulary
-build and answer the questions, using different question words
-complete the sentences, using various grammar structures
-play the guessing game
-listen and discuss the song "Shallow" by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper
-look through the famous idioms and phrasal verbs about the feelings

This lesson is great for Elementary / Pre Intermediate  / Intermediate students.

 

  • Time: 50 hour
  • Objectives: Talking about feelings and emotions
  • Structures: "How do you feel when ...?", "Do you feel ... when...?", "When it's ... I am ..."
  • Target Vocab: frustrated, smug, confused, ashamed, empty, exhausted, confident, embarrassed, proud, overwhelmed, shy…etc.
