A simple exercise to test the use of the words much and many.
The worksheet can be sent via chat box before the lesson.
The student will then read the sentence aloud. The student must then figure out the use of the words many or much in each sentence. Which must then be used in replacement of the dotted line and question mark.
We then move onto the next section. This time requiring the use of the words much and many, each relating to the same word this time.
Finally a quiz. Words are written on their own. Each must be assigned the words much or many.

- Use "many" with nouns that can be counted as individual items.
- The noun must be plural.
- Examples: "How many books are on the shelf?" "There aren't many chairs for everyone."
When to use "much"
- Use "much" with nouns that cannot be counted as individual items.
- The noun will be singular.
- Examples: "How much money do you have?" "I don't have much time"
