Fun English for Kids (6-10)

Is your child shy about speaking English? In this fun, friendly 45-minute lesson, children learn new words through pictures, games and short stories, then use them straight away in real conversation.

By the end of each lesson, your child will be able to:

• Use 8–10 new words on a topic, such as animals, food, family or hobbies
• Ask and answer simple questions, like “What’s your favourite…?” and “Do you like…?”
• Speak in full sentences with more confidence

A typical lesson:

• Hello and warm-up (5 min): a friendly chat and a quick review of last lesson’s words
• New words (10 min): colourful pictures, actions and repetition
• Games (15 min): guessing games, “I spy” and on-screen activities that practise the new words
• Speaking challenge (10 min): a short role-play, story or show-and-tell
• Review and praise (5 min): we go over what your child learned, and every success is celebrated

My teaching style: patient, playful and encouraging. I use simple English, gestures and pictures so children understand without translation. I keep activities short so young learners stay focused and have fun.

What to bring: a pencil and paper, and a favourite toy or object for show-and-tell. I prepare all the slides, pictures and games.
