Portuguese with Poetry (50 min)
Brazilian poetry is well-known for its variety of influences. I love reading poems, and they are a good way to practice our fluency. We can read and analyze some famous Brazilian poems together!

Poems might look difficult to read at first, but this lesson is designed for all levels. If there are any unknown words or confusing sentences, I'll explain them thoroughly to you. With this 50 minutes lesson, you are going to have more time to analyze a poem with me!
Poems are a great way to practice the musicality and pronunciation of a language because of their rhythm. By analyzing them and their meanings, we can understand better how the language works and how to use it in different and more expressive ways, going far beyond what's usual and commonly spoken.
A wide range of new vocabulary also awaits us, all hidden inside beautiful poems. We can read and discuss them together! I'll provide you some poems from easier to more advanced ones, or you can bring me poems that you like. If you wrote one, it's even better! We're going to read them out loud to practice pronunciation as well.
You'll meet Cecília Meireles, Carlos Drummond, Manuel Bandeira, Vinícius de Moraes, and many other immortal Brazilian poets with me! Would you like to give it a try?
