Lesson Pack Details
- This is a lesson pack of 4 lessons in total. When you send the request for the first lesson, points for all 4 lessons will be deducted at once.
- Once the tutor confirms the first request, “100% OFF coupons” that can be used for the remaining 3 requests will be issued automatically.
- You can use these coupons to send requests for the remaining lessons.
- The validity period for this lesson pack is 30 days starting from the scheduled date and time of the first confirmed lesson.
Even if the first scheduled lesson is canceled, the already set validity period will not change.

Hello everyone!
My name is May and I'm a Korean tutor here at cafetalk.
Currently I'm doing my masters in Waseda University Tokyo, Japan.
I've been teaching Korean as a part-time job/charity since my freshmen years, and it's already 6th year this year.

This class is [Reading Korean Storybooks].
Since it requires a minimum ability of reading Hangeul(Korean alphabet), it is recommended for people who have finished the elementary level.
Reading out sounds easy but putting it into the action isn't easy as it seems.
We either find ourselves to shy or awkward to do it.
Yet, it is the best way to correct your pronounciation and intonation.
This class will be conducted by reading a picturebook in Korean language.
I'll be correcting the student's pronounciation and intonation and sometimes explain new words and expresssions as we read along.
Unless you have a favour, the text will be prepared by the teacher after consulting with the student.
Intermediate or above level students will be reading storybooks for adults, short novels (such as The Little Prince), famous Korean literatures, or even non-fictions like magazine or news articles.

This tutor's cancellation policy
Cancellation of pack lessons
• 'Unstarted' lesson packs(1) can be cancelled any time. Used Points will be completely refunded. If a 'started' lesson pack(2) is cancelled, you will be refunded 50% of the price of the remaining lessons provided that the lessons are unrequested, unconfirmed or not within 24 hours of their scheduled start times.
(1) A lesson pack for which none of the requests have been confirmed by the tutor.
(2) A lesson pack with at least one confirmed request. (By confirming the date and time for the first lesson in the pack the tutor confirms the pack as a whole and coupons are automatically issued)

Cancelling individual requests in a pack
• If you wish to cancel a single lesson that belongs to a pack but not the whole pack, you can do so via the request page. In this case, the coupon used to book the lesson will either be refunded or collected, based on the tutors single-lesson cancellation policy. Please note that any 50% partial refunds in the tutors single-lesson cancellation policy do not apply to lesson packs and the tutor may choose to either refund or collect the coupon in those cases.
Before request is confirmed (fixed)
- Cancellation possible at any time without charge.
After request is confirmed (fixed)
- More than 24 hours before lesson start time.→ Cancellation is possible at any time.
- Less than 24 hours before lesson start time.→ The tutor may take a cancellation fee.

No-Show→ The tutor may take a cancellation fee.
