2. Preparing the Canvas/Surface
3. Blocking in the Background Colours
4. Building Layers of Colour
5. Adding the Horizon and Landscape Features
6. Highlighting the Final Details
7. Finishing Touches
For the "Golden Hour Mastery: Sunset Painting for All Skill Levels" lesson, here’s a list of materials needed:
1. Canvas or Paper
- Canvas (stretched or canvas board) for acrylic or oil painting.
- Watercolor Paper for watercolor paints.
- Size: 9x12 inches or larger (depending on preference).
2. Paints
- Acrylic or Oil Paints: (Choose based on your medium preference)Watercolors (if using watercolor paper) in similar hues for sunset skies and landscape.
- Warm Colors: Yellow, Orange, Red, Pink
- Cool Colors: Purple, Blue, White
- Neutral Colors: Brown, Black (for silhouettes and deep shadows
3. Brushes
- Flat Brushes: For covering large areas and blending the sky (e.g., 1-inch flat brush).
- Round Brushes: For finer details (e.g., small round brushes for clouds or horizon lines).
- Fan Brush (optional): For texture, like creating softer cloud effects or blending in oil/acrylic.
4. Palette and Palette Knife
- A palette for mixing paints.
