Conversation - INTERMEDIATE Level B1, B2
Description
CONVERSATION - INTERMEDIATE LEVEL B1, B2
Conversation to develop the ability to express oneself coherently and fluently on a variety of everyday topics, as well as begin to handle more complex situations (for example, expressing opinions on abstract topics, discussing hypothetical situations, etc.).
- Guided conversations: Start with simple topics and gradually increase the complexity. For example, begin with personal descriptions, then move on to discussions on current issues, ethics, culture, or even technical or philosophical topics at the advanced level.
- Debates and discussions: Encourage the student to express their viewpoints and argue them.
- Role-play and simulations: Create real-life situations such as job interviews, negotiations, or discussions on hypothetical situations (e.g., "What would you do if...?" or "Imagine you are...").
- Analysis of oral texts: Use audio clips, podcasts, or videos to analyze expressions, slang, accents, and more complex structures.
- Word games and improvisation exercises: Foster spontaneity and fluency.
- Gentle correction: Subtle corrections to avoid interrupting the flow. Corrections can be made at the end of the activity, highlighting key points that need attention.
- Use of authentic materials such as news articles, podcasts, videos, or interview excerpts that reflect the real use of Spanish.
