In this lesson, you will learn honorific language and professional expressions commonly used in Korean workplaces. You will practice choosing the appropriate language for different people and situations through realistic role-plays.

  • Workplace titles and honorific language
  • Making polite requests
  • Declining a difficult request politely
  • Arranging schedules and appointments

  • Asking someone to repeat or explain something you did not understand
  • Reporting on the progress of your work
  • Apologizing and explaining when you make a mistake
  • Having natural conversations with Korean colleagues

Lesson Structure

  1. Learn the workplace situation and key expressions for the day
  2. Compare the tone and nuances of similar expressions
  3. Read a short workplace dialogue
  4. Practice by taking different roles with the teacher
  5. Apply the expressions to your own work situations
  6. Correct unnatural expressions and learn more natural, polite Korean

The lesson topics can be selected according to your occupation and the environment in which you use Korean. If there are workplace situations you frequently encounter, please let me know before the lesson.

Learn not only grammatically correct expressions but also the natural and polite Korean that people actually use in Korean workplaces!
