Description

You'll learn the difference between content words and function words, which play a crucial role in the intonation of the North American accent. We'll go over reducing vowel sounds in unstressed syllables, as well as in function words. We'll then practice speaking sentences out loud, with some of the most commonly used function words, such as 'to, and, or, that', etc. Focusing on reducing the vowel sounds in function words, and going up in pitch and stress on the content words.
