Description
Shadowing is a well-known practice in the world of pronunciation and accent learning. And while I include it as part of my American Accent class, the Shadowing class is entirely focused on the practice of shadowing.
Shadowing is essentially mimicking a native speaker of your target accent. In this class, we would be mimicking Americans in series, movies, and YouTube videos. I'll lead you through the process, show you ways with which you'll get the most out of it, and give you feedback as we go.
Shadowing can completely transform peoples' accents, when practiced frequently. And does so by tapping into our intuition, of what feels right and wrong, based on our experience mimicking natives.
