Japanese Conversation Practice – Speak Naturally & Confidently

This is not just a lesson for “studying” Japanese. It is a conversation lesson designed to help you actually use Japanese and communicate in real situations.
In this lesson, we will have conversations in Japanese on a variety of topics based on your Japanese level, goals, and interests.
You can freely choose topics you would like to talk about, such as daily life, hobbies, travel, school, work, Japanese culture, or recent events. If you do not have a particular topic in mind, I will prepare conversation topics and questions for you.
If you make mistakes during the conversation, I will correct them when necessary. I will focus not only on whether your Japanese is grammatically correct, but also on how Japanese people would naturally express the same idea in real life.
For example, through our conversations, you can work on:
- Grammar and particle mistakes
- More natural Japanese expressions
- Choosing appropriate language for different situations
- Vocabulary and subtle differences in meaning and nuance
- Pronunciation and intonation
- The difference between polite and casual Japanese
Questions such as “What is the difference between these two expressions?” or “How would a Japanese person say this?” are always welcome. When necessary, I will explain things clearly using example sentences.
How the Lesson Works
The main focus of the lesson is to give you plenty of opportunities to speak Japanese.
Rather than simply continuing a conversation, I will pay attention to your mistakes and areas that you find difficult and help you build up Japanese that you can actually use in your next conversation.
For beginners, we will proceed slowly using simple vocabulary and grammar. If communicating entirely in Japanese is difficult, I can also explain things in English.
For intermediate and advanced learners, we can focus on more natural expressions, subtle nuances, keigo (honorific language), and the differences between formal and casual Japanese.

- Want someone to correct their mistakes and unnatural expressions

- Want to develop practical Japanese communication skills in addition to studying for the JLPT
Learners from beginner to advanced levels are all welcome!
I will adjust the lesson to your individual level and goals, so don’t worry about making mistakes. Let’s speak lots of Japanese and improve your conversation skills together!
