Description
This lesson is great for preschoolers and kids.
The methodology is practical
SKILLS LEARNED:
The students will be able to identify the colours of the rainbow.
The students will be able to identify shapes.
The stdents will be able to recognize the shapes of objects at home.
SUMMARY OF LESSON:
The tutor will explain the colours of the rainbow.
The tutor will pronounce the words slowly and the student will repeat it.
The colours of the rainbow are red, orange,yellow,green,blue and purple in that order.
The tutor will teach the students about shapes such as triangle,square,circle and rectangle.
The student will see a variety of shapes on the whiteboard.
The student will have shout out aloud yes or no noun if that is correct shape the tutor is pointing too.
for example: red circle.
The tutor will read out the names of different shapes using phonics and pronuniciation.
The student will repeat the words after the tutor.
A circle has one side and is flat.
A square and a rectangle has four sides.
A triangle has three sides.
