Description

We will have fun by learning how to build sentences step by step by acquiring lots of vocabulary, practice the vocabulary with drilling activities and finally build sentences with the nouns and verbs that have been taught in this lesson!

Aims:
  • Build sentence structures starting with the simple tenses
  • Acquire new vocabulary through flashcard drilling with our Elmo puppet
Target Language:
  • Present simple and continous verbs I jump/I'm jumping, I study/I'm studying, I do/I'm doing, I play/I'm playing
My young students will receive a class focused around building their first steps on learning the language and having fun at the same time. We will not only use flashcards and puppets, but we will also play games that invite them to a situation where they will have to use English when answering.
