Saying hello , good morning, good afternoon and good evening.

The lesson introduces beginner learners to basic English greetings. Learners will practice listening , speaking and repetition through guided examples , short dialogues and interactive activities.
Objectives: by the of the lesson learners should be able to:
> Use simple greeting language
> Know the type of greeting based on time of day.
Activities
> Tutor starts lesson with friendly greeting , smile and simple hello.
> Tutor introduces himself to learners.
> Tutor asks learners to repeat same process.
> Activity repeats until learners display confidence.
Break
> Tutor uses white board , marker and clock to indicate time of day.
> Tutor writes on the board the correct greetings based on time of day.
> Good morning 12am to 11am
> Good afternoon 12pm to 5pm
> Good evening 18pm to 11pm
Assessment
> Tutor writes random times and asks students to use relevant greetings.
