Who is this for?
Everyone is welcome! For beginners, I'll support you in English throughout the lesson. For those with some Japanese already, I can switch to English just for the parts you're unsure about. No matter your level or experience, you're in the right place!

I'm learning English myself, so I truly understand — language learning is not easy.
But Japanese, just like English, is a tool for communication. Not for getting good grades on a test — but for expressing what you think and feel, and sharing it with another person. That's exactly what this lesson is for.

Do any of these sound familiar? You are not alone — and it is not your fault. Communication skills don't come just from studying. You need to actually speak out loud and practice with a real person. (And yes — facial expressions and tone of voice matter too! )
In this lesson, we start by taking the time to really listen to you — your current level, your goals, and your concerns. From there, we build a lesson plan that is made just for you. The goal is simple: to help you say what you want to say, in Japanese, with confidence. I will be patient, keep things enjoyable, and stay right by your side.
How the lesson works
① Counseling (first lesson)
First, let's have a good talk. We'll sort out together where you are now, where you want to go, and what has been getting in the way. Can't quite explain it? That's completely fine — it will become clear as we talk. From there, I'll put together your personal lesson plan.
② Materials tailored just for you
I use online materials and original materials with audio, illustrations, and images as a base — but the combination changes completely depending on your level and goals. Where we start and how we move forward looks different for everyone. If you have materials you are already using or would like to use, please let me know! We'll figure out the best approach together.
③ Finding and solving your weak points through conversation
Even as we work through materials, I'll naturally notice the moments that need a little more attention — and that's where we focus. I respond flexibly in the moment, and we'll practice by rephrasing things into what you actually want to say. Before long, the things that felt difficult will start to feel much more natural.
④ Adjusting as you grow
As we continue, you may find that your needs and interests shift — "I'd like to focus more on this lately," or "can we try a different approach?" We'll check in regularly and update your lesson plan to match where you are. This is your journey, and the lessons grow with you.
⑤ After every lesson
New expressions and grammar points from each session are added to your personal document, so you can review them anytime — and you're welcome to add your own notes during the lesson too. Over time, it becomes your very own Japanese growth journal. Homework is also available for anyone who would like it!
If you have the wish to say what you want to say — that is enough. Don't overthink it. Just come and have a conversation with me. I will be with you, patiently and cheerfully, until the day you can speak Japanese with real confidence. Let's work towards it together!
