This is a 3-lesson pack. You will be issued 2 “coupons” when the first request is confirmed. You will be able to use these coupons for subsequent requests in the pack. Please note that all requests related to this pack must be taken within 90 days of the first lesson date.

Lessons should generally be booked chronologically, meaning that the second lesson should be booked after the first, and so on.

“구하는 이야기를 써야겠다고 생각했다. 내 이야기는 끝내 구하는 이야기가 된다고 생각하면서도, 조금 더 뚜렷하게 구해야겠다고 생각했다”라는 작가의 말처럼, 『이끼숲』은 누군가의 마음을, 살아 숨쉬는 생명을, 모든 것들이 연결된 이 세계를 구하려는 간절한 바람으로 쓰여졌다.

세 편의 연작소설은 지상이 멸망한 후 지하 도시로 추방된 인류의 미래를 배경으로, 여섯 명의 친구들이 함께하는 사랑과 우정, 모험을 그려낸다. 지하 도시의 인간은 다음 세대, 즉 다시 지상으로 올라갈 세대를 위해 인류 문명을 지속시키는 중간 다리이자 충실한 일꾼에 불과하지만, 여섯 명의 친구들은 그 안에서도 서로 눈을 맞추고, 포옹하며, 손을 맞잡고 숨이 벅차도록 함께 달린다.

첫사랑임을 깨닫자마자 그 상대를 잃고 마는 소년의 아픈 성장을 보여주는 「바다눈」, 누구보다 증오하면서도 동시에 열렬히 사랑하는 쌍둥이 자매에게 보내는 편지글로 이루어진 「우주늪」, 상실의 슬픔과 함께 살아가는 이들을 위한 이야기 「이끼숲」을 통해 천선란의 소설 세계가 지닌 에너지—이야기가 끝나고 다시 발 딛고 선 땅으로 돌아왔을 때, 절망 속에서도 사랑을 잃지 않고 살아가고 싶도록 만드는 힘을 느낄 수 있길 바란다.

This tutor's cancellation policy

Cancellation of pack lessons

• 'Unstarted' lesson packs(1) can be cancelled any time. Used Points will be completely refunded. If a 'started' lesson pack(2) is cancelled, you will be refunded 50% of the price of the remaining lessons provided that the lessons are unrequested, unconfirmed or not within 24 hours of their scheduled start times.
(1) A lesson pack for which none of the requests have been confirmed by the tutor.
(2) A lesson pack with at least one confirmed request. (By confirming the date and time for the first lesson in the pack the tutor confirms the pack as a whole and coupons are automatically issued)

Cancelling individual requests in a pack

• If you wish to cancel a single lesson that belongs to a pack but not the whole pack, you can do so via the request page. In this case, the coupon used to book the lesson will either be refunded or collected, based on the tutors single-lesson cancellation policy. Please note that any 50% partial refunds in the tutors single-lesson cancellation policy do not apply to lesson packs and the tutor may choose to either refund or collect the coupon in those cases.

Before request is confirmed (fixed)

  • Cancellation possible at any time without charge.

After request is confirmed (fixed)

  • Less than 6hours before lesson start time.→ 100% of price charged.
  • Between 6-24hours before lesson start time.→ 50% of price charged.
  • No-Show→ 100% of price charged.
