Picking up and dropping off a parcel made simple and fun.
Description
Everyone loves Vinted! But English-speakers often have a set of functions (ways of speaking) when dealing with posting and collecting packages. If you are thinking of visiting or living in an English speaking country, this 35 minute lesson should have you ready. What is more, this lesson shall be primarily role-play and speaking, so only Beginner and Basic English is needed (though intermediate students are also welcome!).

We begin by showing images of Vinted and packages in the mail, to assess your knowledge of vocabulary in this area (simple words include parcel, or online shopping etc).
Having done a brief vocab recap, I shall display and enact the process of picking up a parcel from a post office. These are really common interactions in English speaking countries! We will then practice and repeat a role play of picking up a parcel. Then, I will present for you a list of functions related to this kind of conversation. We will discuss their meanings, and then it will be your turn to be a shopkeeper- encouraging you to use different English functions and preparing you for the variety you may hear. This will build your skills at sounding native without any intense translation or worries about grammar!
