Have you ever watched a documentary about Ancient Egypt or picked up a book about the pyramids, the pharaohs, or Egyptian mythology and thought:

> Many resources about Ancient Egypt are written for fluent English speakers. In fact it uses a lot of specific terms and expressions that even native speakers may not be very familiar with.

> If you use a dictiornary, you may understand most of the words individually, but it can still be difficult to follow the ideas, make connections between events, or remember everything you've learned.

This is exactly what I've designed this course to do.

Instead of improving your English first and then try learning about Ancient Egypt..

In this course, you'll develop both together, through a carefully planned course that gradually builds your knowledge of Ancient Egyptian history and mythology while improving your English skills naturally along the way.
What makes this course different?

This is not an English lesson with an Ancient Egypt theme.

This is a complete, structured Ancient Egypt course where every lesson builds on the previous one.

And as your knowledge of Ancient Egypt grows, so does your English.

I carefully research and write each lesson specifically for this course.

The reading materials are designed for Upper Intermediate English learners

while introducing authentic historical topics, important Egyptology vocabulary, and useful academic English that appears in books and documentaries.

During the lesson, we'll

  • discuss it in simple English,
  • explore the meaning behind what we've read,
  • and connect it to previous lessons so that each new topic becomes easier to understand and remember.

Política de cancelación del(de la) tutor/a

Cancellation of pack lessons

• 'Unstarted' lesson packs(1) can be cancelled any time. Used Points will be completely refunded. If a 'started' lesson pack(2) is cancelled, you will be refunded 50% of the price of the remaining lessons provided that the lessons are unrequested, unconfirmed or not within 24 hours of their scheduled start times.
(1) A lesson pack for which none of the requests have been confirmed by the tutor.
(2) A lesson pack with at least one confirmed request. (By confirming the date and time for the first lesson in the pack the tutor confirms the pack as a whole and coupons are automatically issued)

Cancelling individual requests in a pack

• If you wish to cancel a single lesson that belongs to a pack but not the whole pack, you can do so via the request page. In this case, the coupon used to book the lesson will either be refunded or collected, based on the tutors single-lesson cancellation policy. Please note that any 50% partial refunds in the tutors single-lesson cancellation policy do not apply to lesson packs and the tutor may choose to either refund or collect the coupon in those cases.

This lesson is “Immediately Confirmed”

If the requested date falls within 30 days, the request will be “confirmed” immediately without having to wait for the tutor to reply.

Requests will be confirmed immdiately expect the first one of a pack. If confirmed immediately, the policy “before request is confirmed” will not apply.

About “Immediate Confirmation”
