Have you ever watched a documentary about Ancient Egypt or picked up a book about the pyramids, the pharaohs, or Egyptian mythology and thought:

"This seems interesting, but the English is difficult."

> Many resources about Ancient Egypt are written for fluent English speakers. In fact it uses a lot of specific terms and expressions that even native speakers may not be very familiar with.

> If you use a dictiornary, you may understand most of the words individually, but it can still be difficult to follow the ideas, make connections between events, or remember everything you've learned.

This is exactly what I've designed this course to do.

Instead of improving your English first and then try learning about Ancient Egypt..

In this course, you'll develop both together, through a carefully planned course that gradually builds your knowledge of Ancient Egyptian history and mythology while improving your English skills naturally along the way.
What makes this course different?

This is not an English lesson with an Ancient Egypt theme.

This is a complete, structured Ancient Egypt course where every lesson builds on the previous one.

And as your knowledge of Ancient Egypt grows, so does your English.

I carefully research and write each lesson specifically for this course.

The reading materials are designed for Upper Intermediate English learners

while introducing authentic historical topics, important Egyptology vocabulary, and useful academic English that appears in books and documentaries.

During the lesson, we'll
  • read the material together,
  • discuss it in simple English,
  • explore the meaning behind what we've read,
  • and connect it to previous lessons so that each new topic becomes easier to understand and remember.

  • Egyptian gods, goddesses, and the afterlife
  • Most pharaohs, queens, and royal families (not just the popular ones)
  • Pyramids, temples, tombs, and how they were built
  • Daily life, food, fashion, and ancient traditions
  • Strange rituals, mysterious beliefs, and fascinating myths
  • Archaeological discoveries and how historians and Egyptologists learn about Ancient Egypt
  • The stories behind the monuments that millions of people visit every year

• 「未开始」的课程包(1)随时可以取消。取消后点数将全额退还。
若欲取消「进行中」的课程包(2)，将退还剩馀课程的50％点数。
(1) 「未开始」係指课程包尚未经讲师确定。
(2) 「进行中」係指课程包中已有一堂课程经确定。（当讲师确定第一堂课程预约后，系统将自动發送课程包剩馀课程的优惠券供之后预约使用。）

取消单堂课程包课程

• 若欲取消单堂课程包课程而非整个课程包，请至该课程预约详细页面取消。取消费依讲师的一般课程取消政策而定，但「收取 50% 课程费用为取消费」将不适用。课程包优惠券仅可能返还或抵用。
