HSK is a step stone of achievement.

Description

The Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK) is an international standardized test set up to test non-native Chinese speakers. HSK is divided into 6 levels, which determine the fluency of learners in daily, academic or professional application of Chinese. Obtaining relevant HSK certificates is a basic requirement for international students to study undergraduate courses in China, and it is also an important advantage for foreigners to work in China.

Why study HSK

• A language spoken by 1.5 billion people

• A must-have language for the world’s second largest economy

• The most authoritative integrated learning course for listening, speaking, reading and writing

• Representatives of Chinese listening, speaking, reading and writing skills

• Gain wide international recognition for further studies and employment

• Gradually reach native Chinese proficiency in stages

Candidates who pass the HSK (Level 1) can understand and use some very simple Chinese words and sentences, meet specific communication needs, and have the ability to further study Chinese.
Candidates who pass the HSK (Level 2) can use Chinese to have simple and direct communication on familiar daily topics and reach the excellent level of elementary Chinese.

Candidates who pass the HSK (Level 3) can use Chinese to complete basic communication tasks in life, study, work and other aspects. When traveling in China, they can cope with most of the communication tasks they encounter.

Candidates who pass the HSK (Level 4) can use Chinese to discuss topics in a wider range of fields and communicate with native Chinese speakers relatively fluently.

Candidates who pass the HSK (Level 5) can read Chinese newspapers and magazines, enjoy Chinese film and television programs, and give more complete speeches in Chinese.

Candidates who pass the HSK (Level 6) can easily understand the information they hear or read in Chinese, and express their opinions fluently in Chinese in oral or written form.

Which level of HSK test?

Under normal circumstances, if you have no goals, we suggest you to pass HSK 4 as your goal. HSK 1 and HSK 2 are based on survival Chinese; HSK 3 and HSK 4 focus on topics related to work, life and learning; HSK 5 and HSK 6 focus on news, movies, and work-related topics. Most Chinese universities and companies require foreign students and employees to reach at least HSK 4.

According to the characteristics of the HSK test, various special trainings including listening, reading, vocabulary, grammar and writing are provided for international students, which can more effectively help international students improve their test-taking ability in a short time and take the test easily.
