Focus on how we can politely say no to someone's invitation whether it's for a meeting, dinner plan or casual suggestion.

Description

In this lesson, we will look at how we can politefully say no to invitations. This lesson looks at cultural standards of how English can be used to decline situations whether they be business or casual.

We will aim to say no in a variety of ways and mention the reason why (you're busy, it's something you've done before or you don't want to).

Instead of using basic English we will use more casual English, for example:

'I don't want to...' can be changed to 'I'm not in the mood to...' or 'I don' t feel like...'

This lesson is great for understanding what to expect when you make an offer, too!
