In this lesson, we practise reading comprehension, pronunciation, listening and speaking skills. You can learn new vocabulary and have interesting discussions about any news topic you're interested in!

Let's talk about the news!
Lesson plan:
1. Small Talk - We will begin the lesson with about 5-10 minutes of casual conversation as a warm up.
2. Please read aloud the news article. I can choose an article for you or you can bring your own!
3. I will correct your pronunciation and help you with your intonation.
4. Let's discuss! Tell me what you think about the news in the article!
After the lesson, I can send you a voice recording of myself reading some of the article (200 words maximum). Please let me know in the lesson if you would like this service. You can use this to help you practise your pronunciation and intonation while you study at home. If you'd like me to send you a recording of the whole article, please choose my 'Spoken English Recording' lesson.
If there is a specific article you want to discuss, please send it to me before the lesson.
