Kursinhalt
In these sessions I will serve you as your Spiritual Director in Christian spiritual matters. My approach is, specifically, Ignatius Spirituality which focuses on God's activity in a person's daily life. You can expect the following course of action in a typical session. In the first part, there will be a facilitated moment of relaxation to calm your mind, emotions, and body followed by a simple question concerning how you are doing in your relationship to God or prayer life. The second part, follows a sequence of exploring, noticing, savoring, and responding. Part three will be winding down. Spiritual direction happens, not in moments of a Christian's life, but throughout a lifetime. These sessions will help deepen your spirituality to understand and engage in God's presence throughout your every day life, in times of pain, and in times of joy. In these sessions, you can expect to get a better understanding of areas that the Lord is touching in your life and ways to respond for a deeper prayer life and relationship with God.
After each session you will be given a spiritual exercise and meditations that you may use throughout your week, or for the following month. I may also include a book recommendation, but if offered, will not required reading. Engaging in the exercises to the best of your ability is strongly recommended. A Bible is required.
Before our first meeting I would like to send you a questionnaire so that I may better serve you. This is also recommended but not required.
