News is an excellent and authentic material for developing listening skills, staying informed about Japan, and having meaningful small talk with people around you.
 
Together, we will watch informational programs, such as news videos or documentaries that were actually broadcasted in Japan without subtitles, or use news and essay articles.
You will listen to the video or my reading (listening practice) and tell me what was said (practice conveying what you heard). Furthermore, you will put your thoughts into words (practice speaking your own thoughts).
Then, I will check if there were any unfamiliar expressions or words for you, and practice them by creating example sentences, among other methods.
We will also exchange opinions freely and engage in discussion training based on that content.
 
Are you feeling a little nervous?! Don’t worry!
If you’d like, I can send you the video link in advance. Also, from the mountain of expressions out there, I will introduce you to the ones that are particularly worth learning, which will be tailored to your learning needs.
After the lesson, I will provide additional guidance through feedback.
