Using the vocabulary we DO KNOW to describe the things that we DO NOT KNOW
Description
Together, we will discuss how to “speak around an idea.” This is important for all those moments when you need to communicate something that you just can’t find the words for. Rather than giving up, or exiting the conversation, we will learn how to use the vocabulary we DO KNOW to describe the words that we DO NOT KNOW.
For example:
Dinner = the meal that you have in the evening
Elevator = the machine that takes you up and down a building
Hiking = when you go walking outside for lesiure
In this lesson, we will discuss how we can take apart ideas that we may not always have the words for.
This class is ideal for beginners and proficient English speakers.
