Topic: Reading Test - FEC
- Are you worried about the reading test?
- Are you afraid you will not be able to fully understand the text?
- Are you still unsure about how to prepare for this exam?
No worries, this lesson is here to help!
In the Reading test you will have to read texts possibly taken from newspapers, magazines, journals, fictional and non-fictional books, promotional and informational material.
You will have to understand their structure and meaning and then choose the correct answer for some multiple-choice questions. You will also have to work with a text in which there are some gaps, each of which represents one missing word. To pass this test, you will have to focus on reading and on vocabulary – idioms, collocations, shades of meaning, phrasal verbs, fixed phrases etc.
How can I help? We will work together on the grammar and vocabulary required for the Reading test. We will also practice reading for detail, opinion, attitude, tone, purpose, main topic and possible implications.

As I have taught tens of FEC students, we will practice together focusing on the specific FEC reading modules until you feel confident and ready to take the test!
*Number of lessons required: usually 10 - 12 classes preferably twice a week, however the exact number of classes needed depends on your initial level*
