We read something short together, then talk about it in English.
Description
Each session is built around a short piece of writing: an article, a personal essay, a review, a blog post, or a short story; that we read together and then discuss in depth. We explore the vocabulary in context, unpack the ideas, react to the content, and let the text spark a genuine conversation that goes wherever it naturally leads.
The reading does the heavy lifting; it gives us something real and specific to talk about, which produces far more natural English than abstract conversation prompts. I choose texts that are genuinely interesting and match your level, or you can bring something you've been wanting to discuss.
Skills covered include reading comprehension, vocabulary in context, opinion expression, and discussion fluency. Great for intermediate to advanced students who want their English practice to feel intellectually engaging and connected to the real world.
