Kazuyo Yoshikawa is an outstanding tutor who made learning a language an incredibly engaging and rewarding experience. I was very happy to take this Abacus lesson because it was available in English. This is rare to find. The tutor was very helpful and encouraging. Unfortunately I can't obtain a Soroban abacus where I live. But I do recommend this lesson to any English-speaking student.

教材の内容が読み物としても素敵です。レッスンを申し込むとすぐにお手本音声を送ってくださるので、事前に真似しながら練習できるのも助かります。今も発音に苦戦してはいますが、先生のおかげで自分のクセや、苦手な部分に気付けています。先生はうまくできたところは褒め、できていないところはしっかり伝えてくださるので、やりがい、練習しがいのあるレッスンです。

I enjoy all of Amber’s lessons, and this one is one of my favorites. I highly recommend her lessons to other students, as they offer not only English study but also something important as a human being, learning to put yourself in someone else’s position, broaden your perspective, and view scenarios that may be relevant to you from a third-person point of view.
