Reading classic English books from across the centuries
레슨 상세 내용
Do you enjoy reading classic English literature, from the nineteenth or eighteenth centuries, or from even earlier?
English literature is rich, with great authors from the past, like Jane Austen, and Charles Dickens. It also has its own challenges, because it uses words which we often don't use in everyday conversation, and describes a different age to today.
This is an advanced lesson for self-study learners to enjoy books in more depth. Best for students who are proficient in English and who would like to get more out of their reading or tackle more challenging texts. We can cover literary terms such as simile and metaphor.
Please note, I cannot help with work that is going to be marked, eg at university.
