(25-minute version)
Casual English conversation can be a difficult subject for many people. Some people use very technical, business English in their jobs, but they don't feel comfortable having casual conversation about general topics outside of work. The best way to improve your casual conversation skills is to practice!
Cuppa* Chat is a free conversation class. You can chat about your life, your work, your family... We can also chat about current events or topics that interest you. I will correct any mistakes as we talk, and I will mostly correct unnatural sentences, meaning sentences that don't sound natural to a native speaker. I will introduce and explain new vocabulary and expressions related to the topic we talk about and answer your questions about grammar.
My #1 rule: Don't be afraid of making mistakes! Making mistakes is how we improve and grow closer to our goals!
So, grab a hot "cuppa" tea or coffee, and let's chat!
Try to let me know before the class if there is a specific topic you want to discuss, like business, politics, news, fashion, etc...
