This lesson is for intermediate to advanced learners.
In this lesson we will develop the muscles in your mouth for English sounds. The way we pronounce words and sentences determine their meaning. For example, one word can have two different meanings, depending where the stressed syllable is.
We will focus on pronunciation features such as:
Phonics
Word stress
Connected speech
Weak and strong forms
Sentence stress
Intonation
You will do a lot of talking in this lesson. You will move your mouth in many ways. You will repeat sounds, words and sentences. Of course, we will also make this lesson relevant to your daily life. So once we are done, you will know what to do at home.
