Do you want to converse, read or surf the internet in a foreign language? Do you need support to find good learning materials? Do you feel that your self-motivation for studying could need a boost?

I want you to become fluent in your target language.

Being a polyglot myself (speaking five languages fluently, studying three more), allow me to assist you with my decade long experience of learning languages. There are tools and method that can help you achieve your personal goal and I want to share these with you.

1.   A detailed explanation of the approach in the first lesson (30 min.)

The method that most polyglot people (including me) use to learn language is based on immersion in your target language. That means, we won’t have classic textbooks to work with or regular grammar lessons. You will read and listen to content that is most relevant for you and I will support your progress.

2.   Access to a library of didactic materials for self-study (for free if you book at least 1x30 minutes per week)

I own a premium access to a library that I personally use to study Russian, Japanese and Portuguese. I will share my credentials with you to provide you access to content that you will need for your self-study sessions. The content is graded, that means it is based on your fluency level. If you’re a beginner, you will have easy content, if you’re already more advanced, your content will be more complex.

3.   Access to a vocabular trainer based on spaced repetition (for free if you book at least 1x30 minutes per week)

Whenever you come across a word that you don’t know, you can easily create a flashcard to practice it later. Using flashcards with spaced repetition will show you difficult vocabulary more often than easy vocabulary, thus supporting your brain to move content from the short-term memory to the long-term memory.

4.   Possibility to book coaching sessions (30 min.)

In the didactic library, it is possible to track your progress, such as number of learned words, continuity of study, etc. During a coaching session, we will develop a learning goal, that means how fast you want to reach a certain level of fluency. We will define all necessary steps to reach this goal in a learning plan. Whenever you book a coaching session, I will monitor your progress, support you to adapt the learning plan and help you with motivational issues.

5.   Possibility to book conversational sessions (30 min.)

Depending on your level of fluency, you can practice with me to get feedback on your improvements since the last conversation. The topics will be agreed on before the lessons and will depend on your personal interest - we'll concentrate on whatever is most relevant for you. 

6.   Possibility to book detailed grammar lessons (30 min.)

Upon request or scheduled in your learning plan, we can have a look at a specific grammar topic that you are struggling with. I’ll help you with some individualized drills or homework to resolve the problem. It is also possible to book this session to control and correct some of your written homework together.
