Professionell Macht Spaß Inhaltsreich

事前に送ってくださった三本の動画のうち、私が選んだ一本について話しました。動画の概要を説明したり先生の質問に答えたりですが、細かな間違いも丁寧にチャットボックスに入力してくれるので復習に役立ちそうです。Charles先生はフレンドリーで話しやすく、雑談でも興味を持ったことをどんどん質問してくださるので、25分があっという間に過ぎてしまいました。とても楽しいレッスンで、引き続き受講していきたいです。

When I watched the three videos which Charles sent me, I was tickled pink. I’m grateful that he found those captivating ones for me. His corrections are careful and so comprehensible. He always allows me to ask him any questions about the corrections. In addition to that, he takes time to send me a heartwarming message while he has a crowded schedule. The videos he chooses and the messages he sends me certainly give me food for thought. He’s first-rate as a tutor. Also considerate and charming as a person. That’s a given! この１年ちょっと、コロナ禍やそれに伴う生活の変化そして猛暑もあったりで、チャールズ先生に添削を伴うレッスンをお願いするのを申し訳なく感じていました。時間をおいての今回のリクエストにもいつものように日本の様子を把握したうえで温かいメッセージと共に誠実に応えて頂き、丁寧な添削をしてくださいました。

First of all, I’d like to express my heartfelt gratitude for Charles’ flexibility. He generously accepted my request to take this as a non-Skype lesson. He sent me a short video clip so that I watch and write my thoughts about it. It was about a life of a fire lookout. I really like this kind of videos which introduce us all different walks of life. I suppose Charles makes a point of catering to each student’s interests and palates when he chooses a video. He corrected my writing and sent it to me with an article he had read. I’m grateful he often shares an article or a video he liked. It always broadens my small world and helps me understand different lives and points of view. スカイプなしレッスンとして受けました。快諾してくださったチャールズ先生に感謝します。レッスン確定と共に3分弱の動画を送られてきました。それを見て感想と質問を返送するという流れでした。自作の教材や動画・写真を使ったレッスンの場合、機械的にどの生徒さんにも同じものを順番に送る先生もいらっしゃいますが、チャールズ先生はおそらく1人1人の性格や好みを把握された上で選んでくださっているのではないかと推察します。今回はこのご時世で色々思うところが多い私、そして日本の現状をその都度メッセージでお伝えしている（先生も常に気にかけて聞いてくださいます）私のために選んでくださったのではと考えています。リモートワークが進んだものの、海外に比べるとまだまだ満員電車にゆられながら、あるいは渋滞の中を運転しての出社を余儀なくされることが多いと言われる日本人の1人として少し考えさせられる動画でした。私が書いたものはしっかり赤で直して下さいましたし提案もしていただきました。おそらく課題の動画に関連したものなのでしょう、先生がお読みになって気に入った新聞記事も読みやすい形式で送ってくださいました。いいリーディングの教材になりそうです。臨機応変に対応してくださる先生なので、ぜひ1度レッスンを受けてみてください。

予約時に、素材を３つほど送ってくれ、自分でレッスンで使いたいものを選べます。どれも面白いものばかりで、毎回どんなものが送られてくるか楽しみです。レッスン前にどんな準備をしたらいいかも詳しく教えてくれます。レッスン中は、わからなかった語句を丁寧に説明してくれて（日本語訳も辞書から探してくれます！）、その素材の中身について意見交換し合います。レッスン後のフィードバックは、頭の整理に役立っています。チャールズ先生は温かみがあって、人柄も素晴らしいです。とても親身になって教えてくれるので超おすすめです！！
